The Client wanted a mixed used complex that would house retail activities for the public, residential spaces for rent, and a rentable open office space – intelligently separated and harmonized. With good aesthetics and ample parking
The building form was naturally born out of the outline of the site and has been masterfully crafted inward and outwardly to suit it’s different functions of retail, offices and residential spaces.
The design embodies mixed use design methods, with the creation of clear distinctions between several functions, through material separations, cantilever, protruding balconies from the residential spaces, roofline variation and transparent glazing from offices etc.
The 6-Storey Development seeks to capture the city’s essence, hence, creating a “central artery” for Lagos with a strong visual presence adapted to the history and skyline of the vibrant city of Ikoyi.
